This contest is open to photographers of all ages, professional and amateur​

You will select the one that most accurately represents your skill and age

• Professional

• Youth (under 18 years)

 

The photos must be taken within the boundaries of Manotick Village & Community Association's area (see our Membership page) and they need to reflect spring themes in the area.​

Here are a few ideas to spark your imagination.  

Community Life: Images of people enjoying spring in Manotick, outdoor fun and gatherings

Landmarks: Iconic Manotick landmarks like Watson’s Mill, Dickinson Square, the Rideau River and others beautifully captured in spring

Nature and Wildlife: Scenic landscapes, local wildlife, or naturals elements in and around Manotick

Creative Perspective: Unique or artistic interpretations of spring in Manotick showcasing creativity and innovation

Submission guidelines

• Open to professional and amateur photographers of all ages

• A maxiumum of 3 entries are welcome per participant 

• Entries must be high resolution digital photos in JPEG or PNG format

• Minimal editing allowed (eg. cropping, brightness adjustments)

• Photos featuring identifiable people must have written consent or guardian consent for minors

• All photos must be original works taken by the participants 

• Photos featuring copyrighted content will be disqualified

In your email include:

1.  Photographer's full name

2.  Photographer's phone number

3.  Photographer's age if entering the Youth category

4.  Any details you would like to share about your photo; date, location, name 

5.  Attach your high resolution photo or photos.
