Report on Mahogany Community Workshop
April 9, 2017

After a brief introduction, participants were assigned to small work groups. Each group was given a map of the developable lands in Mahogany Phases 2 - 4 as well as cut-outs to use in designing the bare bones of a development concept and internal road system. The cut-outs included pieces that represented housing units (5% low density single family units, 75% moderate density single family units, 20% mixed residential) and pieces representing 2.8 ha for an OCDSB elementary school and 3.1 ha of parkland.
Each group presented their design in a plenary session. Minto will use the input to refine their own concept plan for phases 2 - 4. The Minto concept plan will be submitted to the city for review and presented at a formal public meeting, whose date is yet to be determined.
*Residents who were unable to attend may wish to consult the information posted below and submit comments to Catherine Tremblay, Land Development Project Coordinator at CTremblay@minto.com.
